New Match: John and Janet & Remi
Remi was recently matched with John and Janet. One of their first outings
involved taking part in Plow Day at the Sutton Farm in
Hartland. On display were dozens of antique tractors, most over
50 years old. Participants took turns plowing so everyone could
see the tractors at work. Remi quickly mastered the operation
of John’s 1959 Ford tractor and using a two-row plow, made 6
passes in the field, expertly plowing 12 rows all by himself!
Later, Remi made friends with some of the farm animals, who were
eager to receive a pat on the head. Remi, John and
Janet's future plans include skating, boating and just hanging
out.

My 'Little'
and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary in August.
And if I must say so myself, we have had a lot of fun! Some of
the things we have done have included spending the day at the
Detroit Institute of Arts, walked the gardens at Cranbrook,
visited Ann Arbor twice to attend a play and a music
performance. But one of my personal faves was checking out
movies at the library on cold wintry days and coming back to my
house to watch the "chick" flicks while we nibbled on chocolate
goodies! I am looking forward to another fun-filled year!
